Lending a Helping Hand

This is a totally random post for me but I would like to solicit your help. One of my dearest high school friends, Doug, has a daughter competing in a contest for a record deal. She is one of the monthly finalists who is competing for a $25,000.00 record deal. If you could take just a second and vote for her HERE, I would be ever so grateful. Her name is Danielle Weaver and she is an amazing singer/songwriter!!! The voting only goes through the end of February so please vote soon. Also, just in case you have more than a few minutes, multiple votes are allowed with the condition of one vote per computer per day.

Normally, I wouldn't peddle for votes, but this is an amazing opportunity for a talented young lady. I know you guys are the greatest and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Thanks so very much in advance!!!

I'll be back soon...I'm actually beginning to believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel where work is concerned. I can't see it just yet but I can feel it. :-)

Hugs to you all,
L

P.S. You will be glad to know the Christmas trees have now been stored. For all those who wondered...they are artificial. Couldn't have a fire hazard hanging around that long regardless of how lazy or crazy I am. LOL! In my defense, the snow made it very difficult to get to the outside entrance to my basement where I store the trees. Far too much shoveling required just to get in and out of the house to worry with the basement entrance. We have had a tiny break in the weather this week and a path was cleared. I had to jump on the chance as more snow is expected today. Anyone else ready for Spring?????????

Are We Having Fun Yet???

Hmmmm...now that's a question! Seems life is one big barrel of monkeys these days. And yes, I'm being sarcastic. Nothing wrong, just one boring accounting report after another. A total snore. At least during my 9 to 5. I would be lying if I said there isn't a little drama going on behind the scenes...don't I always have drama of some sort? But the sad news is I don't have the time to write about the histrionics of my life. *sigh* However, I'm stock piling the stories in order to share when tax season is over. Stay tuned if you are interested in tales comparable to prime-time soap operas!

Just wanted to stop in and let you know I'm still here. I would love to hear what is going on in your world. Especially since I'm not afforded the time I use to steal from my boss to visit all of you. Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Hugs and more hugs,
L

P.S. This should give you an indication of how crazy life is. I still have Christmas trees sitting in my family room and study. Yep...you read that right. They are no longer sporting their holiday attire. I did eventually get the ornaments packed up...just in time for Valentine's Day. I'm so freakin' lame!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Serendipity Sweet Love

Just stopping in to let you know Serendipity Scrapbooks February kits are now available! I was given the I Deserve It All Kit to work with and can I just say it is too sweet!!! It is full of Little Yellow Bicycle's Sweet Love line and tons of other fun product!

Can you believe how much stuff is in this kit? Sadly, the Altered Kit has already sold out...and I soooo wanted one. But the mini Altered Kit is still available as well as the product in the kit being available for purchase separately. If you are interested at all, I suggest you hurry. I don't think they will last long.

Before I go, here are a few of the layouts I created with my kit.

I hope everyone is having a good week. I'm working really long hours rounding out year end accounting reports. Aren't you jealous??? Until next time...

HugsNLuv,
L
